  Highly recommended. Dr. Willis has set my standard of what makes a "good doctor."
  
  Sitting across from any new doctor as "painfully-aware- I'm-not-medically-educated-Joe or Jane Smith" is immediately humbling and, in worst cases, can even be belittling. That was my experience with previous other doctors. They dismissed very personal concerns, and treated me as though I was annoying them when I insisted on getting clear explanations (because they weren't explaining anything in laymans terms- just telling me what meds I would take). Sometimes I was even ignored. It's like your plumber telling you, with thinly disguised exasperation, that your sink is just fine, despite only looking at it for 5 minutes before washing his hands and turning to give you the bill. And yet you're the one living with that sink, and it's definitely still leaking! But hey, he's the one that went to plumbing school so, what can you do? Before Dr. Willis, I really thought most doctors were just, well, the patronizing lab-coated elite who looked at you like parasite in need of their highly-educated brains.
  
  But, my appointment with Dr. Willis has restored my trust that there are good doctors!! As a new patient, I had to wait a long time to get an appointment, but it was worth it. He spent about an hour with me as I talked about what was on my mind. He didn't interrupt me, redirect me, or try to hurry me up. Every issue I brought up was thoughtfully considered and addressed in some way. He didn't push me to get tests I didn't need but just those to establish a baseline of what could be wrong, and openly and kindly admitted when some issues were just part of the wear and tear of living. He acknowledged my strengths and the care I HAVE taken to be in good health- which was such a great comment to hear! My experience with Dr. Willis is my new standard for the manner, professionalism, and patience of a primary care doctor. I didn't walk out feeling belittled; I walked away feeling more confident that, with his help, I was taking care of my body and fixing the fixable issues it has. He genuinely chose the right career and I am so happy that I was able to get his guidance and help.
