  I honestly wish I could give my experience with Regions Bank downtown Pensacola branch zero stars.
  
  My company received a rather large check as payment for services we rendered from a company that we have cashed multiple checks from only weeks ago. A hold was placed on the check, which I completely understand. What I can not understand is the condescending, hateful way that the branch manager, Julie Peterson, spoke to my business partner and myself. Each and every day we tried to talk to her (when she wasn't clearly dodging our phone calls) about why it was taking so long for our check to clear (8 days!!) we were greeted with her continued vitriolic tone and rude, unprofessional attitude.
  
  In desperation, we got in touch with the branch manager of another Regions bank in Pensacola and explained our problem. This branch manager was extremely helpful and a pleasure to do business with. She was able to clear our check that very afternoon! After 8 days of having 5 figures held hostage by Julie Peterson, we found that all we had to do to get great service from Regions Bank was to talk to literally ANYONE other than Julie Peterson.
  
  Apparently it is so foreign to Julie Peterson that 2 young men in their 30s would be out grabbing life and business by the horns rather than wasting their lives away in middle management that she flatly refused to be of any help at any time. I have received far better customer service when I have ordered fast food from teenagers.
  
  It will bring me great joy next week when we close our Regions account forever, withdraw more money than she has ever had in her life, and deposit it directly into our new Sun Trust account. We needed a bank that would help our business grow, not stubbornly and needlessly stand our way. Thanks for nothing, Julie Peterson. You are the worst.
  
  To all those who may consider opening a Regions account downtown: choose another bank or at least another Regions branch unless you like being talked to and treated as if you are a massive inconvenience and your money and needs don't matter.
