  1/5 STARS. Was there to try out some Altra shoes. Picked out a pair I liked in the size that fit. Asked if I could jog a couple hundred meters outside or on a tread mill to make sure that I would be comfortable running in this running shoe from a running store. I was informed, politely, that I cannot do that because then the shoes would be "used" and the store could no longer sell them. I don't really think I can ever support a running shoe store that won't let me make sure I will actually be comfortable in the pair of shoes that I buy. I did not make a purchase at this store.

  They are helpful for people that actually run. My husband doesn’t and only wanted some athletic shoes that looked and felt good. He left happy. They don’t sell Nike but have other comparable brands.
