  Honestly don't count on these guys to ever actually help you... I have called these guys 2 times on two different events..
  1. I was literally held hostage in my house by a visious pitbull, they said it was not an emergency so I said, ok then I will shoot it then, they said that they would charge me for animal cruilty and discharging a fire arm in a residental area... 2. My wife was attacked by a neighbors dog, had a hole ripped out of her rearend the size of a dime(not just skin, meat), the dog had no shots, animal control showed up took the dog and did nothing else, the guy actually had the nerve to explain to us he didn't want to upset the dog owner anymore than he had to because she was very distrote.. It is a misdomeanor in Florida for your dog to injure someone and another misdomeanor for not being current on shots.. Guess what they did... Nothing... When we pushed, "owe, this happens 10 times a day in Eskambia County" get an attorney your thinking right? Guess what, nieghbor has no home owners insurance so no attorney wants the case.. Now my wife is seriously ill from all the medication she has to take because of the dog bite and we get a $1500 ER Bill... Escambia County is the worst place I have ever had the "oppurtunity" of living in... Shame on you animal control and shame on Escambia County government officials for allowing this... But hay the crime rate is dropping, yeah, I guess if you don't actually charge criminals with crimes the rate will go down...
