  STAY AWAY! These people are morons. They put my cash deposit that I deposited to pay my rent into the wrong account and it caused me to be evicted from my apartment that I had rented for almost 3 years. I complained to the board and they DO NOT CARE!. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THEM. A couple of years ago I applied for an auto loan for a 2006 GTO; I was approved for the loan. I sent a $500.00 deposit to the company who had advertised the car for sale VIA the internet. When the seller faxed the C.U. the title the C.U. backed causing me to loose my $500.00 deposit. The seller East Coast Auto had not disclosed that the car had been a theft recovery. Naturally once I knew that the car was not as advertised and that it did not have a clean title I changed my mind about purchasing they car. However; the seller refused to refund my $500.00 deposit that I had made with a debit card. Gulf Winds refused to help me get the $500.00 deposit back even though they knew the deposit was made on good faith on a car that was offered for sale with a clean title. STAY AWAY FROM GULF WINDS CREDIT UNION.
